Junior .Net Developer

Location: UK or India, Remote
Working Time: Mon - Fri, 08:00 to 17:00 GMT or 11:00 to 20:00 IST

We are looking for a Junior .Net Developer with the following:

  • Having degree related to Computing, with pass year of 2022 or 2021 or in the Apprenticeship scheme
  • Strong desire to learn
  • Excellent English communication

As a Junior .Net Developer Developer, you will be working with other members of the development team to continue building our internal web solution, Orchestr8 Team - a task/project management platform which is currently in Beta stage. You should live and breath coding. You will be someone that is classified as a Super Nerd.

Your duties and responsibilities in this role will consist of:

  • Reviewing User Stories/requirements and analysing technical tasks and efforts
  • Building unit test harness for testing the new code
  • Developing code
  • Running tests to ensure your code works
  • Updating technical design
  • Collaboration meetings with the team

Skills required:

  • Knowledge of development languages and databases, .Net/C#, HTML, CSS, JS, MS SQL, MySQL
  • Knowledge of Agile development methodologies including Scrum
  • Knowledge of industry best practices
  • Able to demonstrate clean code you have written
  • Excellent English communication

Personal qualities:

  • The ability to communicate effectively, i.e. being forward with communications
  • Time keeping, i.e. 2pm means 2pm, not 2.05pm
  • Have ownership and accountability for all your work
  • Committed to maintaining agreed delivery timelines
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent at learning new things quickly and have pleasure in expanding your knowledge and skills during in your own time
